Our food bank centres work using a voucher referral system. You must have a voucher code before coming to us.

 

We can only give food and household items to people who have a voucher code. This ensures everyone we meet has the opportunity to get the wider support they need.

When you come to a food bank centre, we will welcome you and collect your voucher code. You can tell us about what’s going on for you, and we will try to make sure you are connected with relevant local organisations that can support you to move out of crisis.

Our priority is to relieve immediate hunger and support you to change the circumstances that led to hunger as quickly as possible. For this reason, Hackney Foodbank voucher codes should be redeemed within seven days, and can only be provided once a week. If you’re struggling to access food during the rest of the week, you can find other local services providing food here.
